The Gossamer Gear The Two will be an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight, spacious tent with a floor and mosquito net for 2 people at an affordable price. The whole package has a great weight, is easy to set up and takes up almost no space in your pack. On long distance treks this is one of the most used tents.

Sophisticated design and great material

It is a single-walled hybrid construction, where the inner part of the tent is separated from the entrance hall. Basically, it is a simple pyramid that is built on two trekking poles ( not included!!), but has the inner tent already sewn in, including the floor.

The tent is made of very lightweight, yet strong siliconized 10D nylon with internal PU coating. To maintain the longest possible life of the flooring, we definitely recommend using tyvek or polycro under the tent. The Two has entrances on both sides with a full sized vestibule where both wings can be opened. Ideally, you should leave one half of the vestibule rolled up, which will ensure much better ventilation of the tent and reduce internal condensation. The floor is basically one big, tall bathtub, which means it can’t leak inside the tent. Above this tub there is a mesh inner side which ensures maximum ventilation of the whole tent.

It’s also worth mentioning that there are mesh vents in the foot and head area, which is a great detail because these are the places where you breathe out the most moisture.
